Our June Section meeting is:
“Innovation… From Vision to Reality”
About the Presentation:
Develop Your Creative Habits:
Interested in creating new and innovative approaches to your work, synergistic relationships and effective processes? This workshop is for YOU! Set a new direction for improvement and success!
You may have read about innovation, heard about innovation and maybe even tried to be innovative. But you may not truly understand the process of innovation. Innovation begins with the thoughts you are thinking, the purpose you define, and the vision you create.
Many of the world's most successful innovators, from Thomas Edison to choreographer Twyla Tharp, concede that you cannot force innovation - you have to develop it. That is, you can enhance your capacity to generate innovation, and adopt what Tharp calls the "creative habit". These creative habits are the foundation for a global and entrepreneurial process that foster innovation in the workplace as well as personal and professional fulfillment.
In this two part workshop (pre and post dinner), you will engage in the process of creating, developing and implementing innovation capacity by:
• Identifying successful thinking strategies
• Clarifying your purpose
• Refining and renewing your vision
Apply this process directly to your own challenges, concerns and opportunities. Leave this workshop ready to implement a new perspective, refined purpose and clear vision..
