    5:30 - 7:30 P.M.

    Non-Members: $10 per person

    About this event:

In this session, Rick & Jim will discuss what these evolving concepts mean to management, how managers can use data science and the kinds of questions they can (and can’t) expect analytics to address for them. They will also explain what makes a good analytic question and how managers should interpret the analytic insights and results they receive from the data science teams.

By the end of this talk, you should understand why it is so important that every manager, regardless of function or industry, understand the power of data and knows how to leverage the potential of their data science teams. Rick and Jim will end the evening with a facilitated discussion around some typical management challenges or concerns you may be facing in relation to data science.

There will be an informal interactive panel discussion after the talk moderated by ACM Sacramento Chair, Dr Harsh Verma.
